Plants with the beginning letter A all go in one area.
Continue until you have gone from A to Z

Animal Garden

Include topiaries and artwork of animals and animal shapes

Butterfly Garden

Include plants that attract butterflys
If the plants attract butterflys, remember they also attract bees.

Cereal Garden

Kids like to know where their food comes from.
Use plants that are edible

Dinosaur Garden

Use big, old plants to resemble the time frame of the dinosaur age.
Hide fossils in the plants so that the children have to find them.

Kids Books Garden

Prune plants in shapes of story book characters - Peter Rabbit, Alice Wonderland, etc.

Pizza Garden

Use herbs that can be found in the toppings of pizza.

Rainbow Garden

Place plant material so that they bloom in the colors of the rainbow. Put a fake pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Raised Beds

Place glass around base, so that kids can see the root structures.

Use plant material that relates to the sense of touch, smell, taste, and sight.
